MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU!

"May the force be with you" for all of you Starwar fans. This
relates nicely with our Space Inquiry, so why not do some more research
about Space or create a space station using lego or other building
materials. Some of you might already have some Starwars lego to build with.

Over the weekend it was very STORMY - not that it looks like it today with the sun shining. You might like to record your experiences of the Storm in the written form of a Poem. You could try a poem with some rhyme, or an Accrostic or a poem where you use the five senses to describe your feelings.

        Have a fabulous day!

  1. You are right, Mrs Smaill. May the fourth be with you does relate to our Inquiry topic Planets! I completely forgot to include that in my video! Argh! You could be a poet Mrs Smaill! We have a HUGE box full of videos too! I'm not sure what to do with them as no one has a video player anymore!
I bet your children can't wait for the Google Meet's tomorrow!

  3. I've been clearing out my garage too. I've found old photos, videos, cassettes and even LP's! I wonder if Room 10 know what they are? I also found a box with work my children did at school (they are all grown up now) and it was so nice to look back at it all. I'm sure parents will treasure the work done by the children in your class too.

May the force be with you too Mrs Smaill! The force of the wind and rain was certainly with us over the weekend but as you say it was much needed! We have an extra special force at our place today because my son Tohu was born on May the 4th five years ago. He is starting school at Sunyhills today and even got into his uniform at 7am this morning! Eager beaver! Have a great day and stay dry!

Hi Room 10 and Mrs Smaill. Wow I like your acrostic poem. Yes it was stormy during the weekend. Goodness me I recognise your video tape....Mrs Edmonds used to use video tapes to record movies and shows. We are so lucky to have fancy smart TV's and Cellphones these days!

What a great idea to try and build a space station at home! I hope some of your students give this a try so I can see some awesome creations. From Miss Stuhlmann

What a lovely message to start the week Mrs Smaill. Very exciting that Google Meets start this week. Love the idea of building a Space Station. I'm sure that lots of Room 10 students will have a go at this.
