Pirate Toby!!

Wow! I see Pirates Toby and Eleanor have been very busy with their home learning.

I like how you have completed a variety of learning like the Maths, Art, Drama, Technology and

Written Language. Did you show Grandma how to use the robot arms to spell out the words?

Alexander's Technology and Dino's Days of the Week

Awesonme job with your Days of the Week.
Keep up the great work, Dino.

This is a spider car and it has eight legs and it is mini sized.  It has mandibles at the front which are used to get poison into the bugs so then it can eat the bugs.  The bugs are like the petrol that make the car go.  It also has a little point at the back that shoots the silk out to make the web.

Then later Dino and Hafsa at 2:00 pm.

Toby's Home Learning with his Grandparents

I'm glad you enjoyed learning about how
craters are made.
It looks like you have some expert helpers
there with you.
Yes, it was a very full moon last night. I went outside to see it too because the sky was lit
 up so brightly!

I look forward to hearing about your interesting story tomorrow
at the Live Google Meet.
Gosh, you must have a lot of Dinosaurs to make a row
 measuring 1.2 metres.
Kai pai - keep up the awesome learning.

Tejaswini's Home Learning

Wow! What beautiful work you have created Tejaswini.
I can see that you are very creative. A talented artist, I think.
Did you enjoy the Hop Scotch game that I suggested? I remember
playing this when I was a child. It teaches you a lot of skills like -
counting in order, balance, throwing and aiming skills too. Not to
mention practising how to hop on one leg. I love the Maths activities
as well. Fantastic setting out of your work. I think we should try
that game back at school with collecting the right number of objects.

Orlando and Toby's Home Learning

Toby this looks like a fantastic car
                                               model made from recycled materials.
It is great that your Popi could help you.
Super Police poster and I like your
             natural collage.
I see you are going with a
                                theme for pirates and sharks.

Hi Mrs Smaill and my friends in Room 10. I'm really missing all of you and cant wait to see you all again.

My Dad has typed up all of my 8 Word lists on his laptop and made them big so i can easily learn them.

My Dad also signed me up to a site on the internet called IXL.com and I have been achieving alot with online maths and english activities. Check out my certificate for answering 1000 questions!!!

Also have a look at all the cool wind up toys i've been collecting on the site, for completing different exercises. Its a really fun and educational site if your Mum's or Dad's want to check it out for you.

Have a great day, miss you all. ðŸ˜ƒðŸ˜Ž

From Orlando

It looks like you have been working hard and learning heaps, Orlando.
Sorry, the certificate and emoji toys won't load on this system.
Congratulations, for answering 1000 questions!!!

Measurement - Alex Y

Cool measurement activity, Alex.
I can see you are "eight feet" high on this
but I'm glad you are not 8 Feet as a measurement,
otherwise you would not fit through the classroom door!

Ruby - Hunting for Shapes

Awesome drawing of all the shapes that you found
around your house, Ruby.
Wow! What a very cute Playhouse. I remember you
drawing this for our assembly item. I wish I
had a playhouse just the same in my frontyard.
I think you have taken some great photos by yourself.
I love taking photos too. My knickname was 'Snappy Happy".

Hello from Gracie - Princess Gracie, that is!

Thank you Gracie for following today's suggestion
on the morning video - Hunting Shapes.
You look like a real princess and your hair
looks very pretty down.
I like how you adapted the house shapes into
a castle, fit for a Princess.
Very creative, indeed!

Arianna - stories from home

Lovely to see your stories, Arianna.
I am pleased that you are helping at home, using
our Sunnyhills GEMS and that you have continued
with our learning about Time.
Keep up the great work!

TINKER TIME!

We are playing a maths game, building relationships and developing team work.
We throw two bean bags on the numbers and then add them up using an abacus.

Look how creative we are!
All the students love building with our wonderful lego.
