Glorious Vegetables 🌶 🍅 🌽

We read a big book called,

Max's Sandwich. It was a healthy

sandwich with lots of vegetables,

cheese and meat. Then we made

our own sandwich pictures using

paper collage.

Little Gardens

Look at our little gardens that we have planted.
We are practising our GEMS by looking after our plants.
We have been learning about what plants need to grow.

Lockdown Level 3

After our first Lockdown, Room 10 made a PMI chart that recorded all the students ideas.

So ... after Lockdown Level 3 each child recorded their own ideas.

A PMI chart is -  Plus - positive aspects

                             Minus - negative aspects

Interesting - different or interesting things that occurred

Dreaming of Clouds

Cloud watching is one of my favourite activities.
The sky is amazing - always changing and I sometimes
think that if you painted the clouds as they look people
may not believe you because they can be so different,
all at the same time!

Why not check out the Science slide (7) and click
on the link to see how Clouds are formed.
Then do some Cloud Gazing.
This will be good for Mindfulness too.

Have fun and see you tomorrow at the
Friday Google Meet at 11:00

Rain, rain, you're here to stay, today!

The rain is back again, but we
have a water shortage for Auckland city,
so we can be grateful that our dams are
getting filled up.

It is an awesome day to stay inside doing
some fun activities like-

Board Games
Making a hut
Watching your favourite movie
Reading books
Exercises indoors
Mindfulness
Singing
Baking

Communicating through Semaphore Signals

Check out Slide 12 today about using
Flag Semaphore Signals to send messages.
Maybe write a message with the online Semaphore
Converter - it is a lot of fun!
And for Technology you could make two semaphore
flags of your own to use.

Our Enormous Sandwiches

Sandwiches for lunch anyone? We read a shared book about a huge sandwich that Max made, so we

decided to make our own sandwiches. We haven't quite finished all of them so watch this space!

When we return to school, we will finish them and display the sandwiches in all their glory.

COMMUNICATION

Thank you Lydia for sharing and practising your learning about COMMUNICATION. The POSTCARDS you made your friends, are amazing!

Lydia shared her learning about COMMUNICATION            with our class. Lydia made POSTCARDS with                  kind positive messages to her friends.

Mrs Smaill tried to buy a Post Box for our classroom but they had all sold out so Lydia kindly solved the problem for us.   She made a POST BOX to put all our class postcards in.

And Laela made a lovely POSTER with pictures and stickers to share give to her friend Alexander.

These are all ways of sharing COMMUNICATION!
