Awesonme job with your Days of the Week. Keep up the great work, Dino. |
This is a spider car and it has eight legs and it is mini sized. It has mandibles at the front which are used to get poison into the bugs so then it can eat the bugs. The bugs are like the petrol that make the car go. It also has a little point at the back that shoots the silk out to make the web.
Great work with your days of the week Dino. Alexander I love your spider and the vocab that you have used. I wonder what you will make on Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteDino that is fantastic work on your days of the week, I have needed a wee reminder some days what day it is! I needed your piece of paper to remind me. Alexander, you are very creative to build your spider car and excellent describing of how it is made up. Well done room 10!! Enjoy your crazy hat day.
ReplyDeleteDino your writing is really coming along well. I wonder if you could learn to write them in Te Reo Māori. Did you know that the word 'ra' means day and we see it at the beginning of each of the days of the week....Rāhina, Rātu, Rāapa... Alexander did you use Kinex to make that it is very clever and very imaginative! We had some Kinex arrive at our house yesterday perhaps we will try and make a spider car!Tino pai.
ReplyDeleteDino, super writing down of days of the week. I love your neat tidy writing. Do you know how many days there are in week? I think the answer might be yes looking at your clever work. Alexander, your creation that you have made is fabulous. When I read the description about your creation, I can see that you have thought very carefully about your design. Tino pai rawa - excellent. From Mrs Smith
ReplyDeleteWhat a creative idea Alexander - melding spiders and cars. When humans copy nature it's called bio mimicry. This is a video about it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HppE6ezLDqI
ReplyDeleteKeep shining bright at home, Mrs Daniel
That's great work with the days of the week, Dino. Can you order the months of the year as well?
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic spider! You know lots about spiders, Alexander!
From Mrs Burge
What lovely neat writing Dino. How clever are you to know all the days of the week! I like Mrs Burge's suggestion to try ordering the months of the year next, and then you could try writing them all in Te Reo Maori too. I think that would make you a mastermind! What a magnificent spider car Alexander! Your detailed description shows that you put a lot of thought into it.
