In the kitchen with Mrs Smaill

These are olives from our Olive trees in the garden.
Watch my Teacher video tomorrow morning and I will show you what I am doing with them.
Watch this space!!!

Look at these delicious Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins. I made these at lunchtime today,
so they don't take long to make.
Charlotte tasted one and said they are
the best I have made, just right!
I don't like cooked bananas, so I will
take her word for it. I got this recipe from
Nadia Lim's Comfort Cooking show.
The recipes are on the TVNZ site for you to use.
They would make a great treat for Mum on
Mother's Day or an afternoon snack for yourselves.

  1. What a fabulous harvest of olives Mrs Smaill! I'm intrigued to know what you will do with them. I wonder if the children have any ideas.

    1. Lovely to hear from you Mrs Robinson. Not sure, if there will be any muffins left as they are going fast! But I can always make more when we get out of our bubbles.

  5. I've seen some people walking around the streets of Cockle Bay with buckets collecting olives too Mrs Smaill. They must be doing the same as you.
