Lydia is very busy with her distance learning at home. Here is her Floating and Sinking experiment. Thank you for recording the results.
These are the results of Orlando's
Melting Ice experiment.
And Orlando has a new haircut from his Dad. Doesn't Orlando look very cool?

Alex, this is a fantastic tree created from
elements of nature.
You also did a great job with your poster
sharing the learning about planet Venus.
Lydia, floating and sinking is a fun activity - what floated that you thought would sink?
ReplyDeleteOrlando, you could try this experiment again when it gets colder and see if your results are different.
Toby, your chocolate banana loaf looks AMAZING! You must have weighed and mixed al the ingredients really well because if you don’t, baking doesn’t work.
Alex, you have made a fantastic nature picture. How many different plants and flowers did you find? I wonder how hot Venus is?
Mrs Clyde
Lots of math and science happening in Room 10. I like how Lydia and Orlando recorded the results of their experiments and Alex's research about Venus. Even Toby's baking is a combination of math and science to produce that yummy banana cake!
ReplyDeleteWow Lydia, Orlando, Toby and Alex have all been busy beavers with lots of different ways of learning. Baking is fun and at the same time learning about measurements, weights, times, did the banana loaf taste good? Cool haircut Orlando and great experiments by Lydia and Orlando, I've seen lots of children testing what floats and sinks. It's always interesting to see the different outcomes!
ReplyDeleteLots going on in Room 10. I love all the maths and science that is happening. Fabulous that you recorded the results of your experiments Lydia and Orlando. Alex your research about Venus looks very interesting. Maybe you could bring it to school so your teacher can put it up. Toby your baking looks delicious. Lots of maths and science baking in baking too!
ReplyDeleteI love science and it's great to see Lydia and Orlando both doing science experiments. I was wondering if either of you were you surprised by your findings?
ReplyDeleteBoth Toby and Alex were learning about science too. Did you know that baking is Chemistry? Can you find out what Chemistry is?
Your nature picture was very creative, Alex and I enjoyed reading the facts you discovered about the planet Venus. Do you know the name of the science that studies the planets?
Mrs Churchill
Wow! This is so cool. I love banana cake, I wonder if the chocolate loaf tastes the same or even better. From Miss Stuhlmann
ReplyDeleteAnother Science experiment Lydia, maybe you will grow up to be a scientist!!!
ReplyDeleteYou look very smart with your new haircut Orlando.
Oooh, chocolate banana loaf! Don't tell Miss White, she loves banana bread!
Alex, you will know more about the planet Venus than I do once we get back to school!
