Spring is in the air!

Spring is in the air!
Daffodils everywhere ...
Go to slide 8 and watch the video about how to
paper fold your own daffodil or copy my simple idea.
Daffodil Day is this Friday 28th August.

It was awesome catching up with most of you yesterday on  the
Google Meet. You all looked so happy sharing your learning and
asking fantastic questions. I was very proud of how you
all listened carefully to each other, waited turns and used your microphones.

You are like professionals - using Google Meets now.
Well done - using your GEMS self-belief and growth.
Tune into the next Google Meet on Friday, 11:00 am.

Morena Room 10, it was so wonderful seeing so many of you yesterday on our Google Meet! You all shared some of your learning and I learnt something new - using flags to communicate. We will need to try this in class when we are back in school. Looks like it will be an indoor kind of day.

Morena Mrs Smail, great idea to make daffodils today. I love sweet raw peas from the garden!! Funny because I can't stand frozen peas :D I hope you enjoy your last few from the garden.

  3. Good morning Mrs Smaill. The daffodils and plants will be enjoying all the rain at the moment, even if we aren't! It was lovely to see all of the gorgeous faces yesterday at the google meets. It sounds as though you had lots of fun with Room 10. From Miss White

  5. Good morning Mrs Smaill. I love thinking that Spring is coming and I enjoy seeing all the spring flowers that are starting to appear now. Your garden peas looked very yummy. You have inspired me to get some growing in my garden. Have a great day.

Oh Mrs Smail I love your bright beautiful daffodil you made. I have been noticing these popping up under trees as I go on my daily walks! They certainly brighten things up when it is grey! I am also loving the look of those fresh peas...yum!!! Will you cook them up for tea?

  7. We can't wait to see all of our lovely cherubs again on Monday. We have to deliver papers today so hopefully the rain will stay away. Your mini daffodils are sooo cute. It is always lovely to see the daffodils coming up as we know the weather is going to improve!
