The rain is back again, but we
have a water shortage for Auckland city,
so we can be grateful that our dams are
getting filled up.
It is an awesome day to stay inside doing
some fun activities like-
Board Games
Making a hut
Watching your favourite movie
Reading books
Exercises indoors
Mindfulness
Singing
Baking
Good Morning Mrs Smaill. I love all of your suggestions for the children to do on this wet, windy day. I got caught out by the rain this morning while out on my walk. Let's hope the sun stars shining this afternoon. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteGood morning Mrs Smail, great idea to play some board games and making huts! I used to love making huts with my sister. We used to use all of Mum's pegs, chairs and sheets from the linen cupboard. We weren't very good at folding them again when we were finished though :D
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Miss Robertson
I think I will do some of Mrs Smaill’s ideas today - some baking and read a book. Our dog wants to go for a walk but I don’t think we will be able to with all the rain!
ReplyDeleteGood morning Mrs Smail. There sure has been a bit of rain this week but I agree that it is a good thing. We definitely want the dams to fill up a bit before summer. I wonder how full they are now? There's still lots of sunny patches as well so I hope everyone gets outside for some fresh air and exercise. Have a great day everyone.
ReplyDeleteThat's funny to read what Miss Robertson said....we have had two seperate huts complete with decorations and fairy lights set up in our house since the weekend with my children wanting to sleep in them each night. Unfortunately they are TERRIBLE when it comes to putting away all the blankets, lights and pegs!Story of my life! Have a great day and keep warm!
ReplyDeleteHopefully the water dams have filled up a bit over the last few weeks!
ReplyDeleteMy girls have been baking cupcakes and making pikelets today. What a good day to stay in and bake.
