Day 4 - Diary Writing

                                      How are your Diaries going?

This is my DAY 4 -  A spot of Gardening!

The other day we weeded and cleared a very over grown veggie garden. Today, I dug in some compost and then planted some tiny seedlings.
Here's hoping some vegetables grow!!!

Our Family Tree

At the beginning of the year, we played a variety of games
so that we could get to know each other. This photo
shows our 'People Bingo Game'

Our Family Tree has photos of our families,
the special people in our lives.
And we all know how important Families are right now.
We can be grateful for the Lockdown that allows
us time to share, laugh, play, talk and have fun
with our loved ones in our safe, caring homes.

Sharing readers with our Buddies
from Room 11. We get to celebrate
each others learning.

Our Class Treaty

Here is our Class Treaty.
We brainstormed our ideas and
then summarised them.
Next, we made a handprint and signed it,
just like the Waitangi Treaty, signed in 1840.
(I liked how Arianna said to look after the world
and the classroom environment, but we had trouble fitting it all on one page.)

DIARY WRITING while at home.

I was thinking today, that it would be FUN to make a Diary of your time at home.
Each day you could draw a picture, add some labels, write a sentence or two about something that you did that day or take photos of your cool creative projects.
It doesn't have to be every day or too much, but it might be a great record to look back
on in the years to come of all those special memories you made.

We could then share these Diaries with our family, friends and buddy class
when we meet back at school very soon.

Take care and keep safe!
Have FUN!

Mrs Smaill :)

TINKER TIME!

We are playing a maths game, building relationships and developing team work.
We throw two bean bags on the numbers and then add them up using an abacus.

Look how creative we are!
All the students love building with our wonderful lego.

Room 10 Certificates

Congratulations to our Super hereos,
Qiang Qiang and Blake.

Presenting at the Koru Assembly

Arianna was an inspiring presenter
at our recent Koru Assembly.
Room 10 and Mrs Smaill are so
proud of her efforts.

Sharing and shining at the Koru Assembly

Room 10 were amazing when sharing their
learning at the recent Koru Assembly.
We wrote an innovation from a shared book
about presents. It was like a game -
Guess what the toy is?
